All Natural : PRP + PRF

Looking for the most natural of treatments? Here it is! This treatment is frequently called "liquid gold" and it's for good reason! Both PRP and PRF use your very own blood to stimulate cell growth and diminish the appearance of scarring, stimulate hair growth, encourage collagen production, and more! Both procedures involve having your blood drawn, which is then spun down to create your very own serum.

PRP stands for "platelet-rich plasma". PRF, on the other hand, stands for "platelet-rich fibrin". Although drawn from your vein in the same way, PRP involves additives and chemicals and is spun down in a different way than PRF, which remains completely natural and unmodified. While both treatments offer incredible results, PRF delivers about 8-10 times more growth hormones than naturally occurring in your blood. PRP and PRF release natural growth factors to accelerate healing, promote healthy collagen structures, and stimulate blood flow in the treatment area. They both can be injected alone or can be combined with other S+A services such as microneedling or Morpheus8!

The benefits are endless for PRP/PRF therapy. Pricing for PRP is $450. For PRF, pricing for two vials is $500 and for four vials is $600. In addition, we also offer the newest techology, EZGel PRF, which is $700.  Schedule an appointment with Skin + Aesthetics today to learn more about your body’s natural healing properties and skin rejuvenation options!

So many uses...

Microneedling creates micro-injuries in the skin to elicit your body's response and produce collagen and elastin, add volume to the skin, heal acne scars, minimize pores, and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Because of this, PRP is an excellent add-on to this! The PRP serum is absorbed into your skin through those injuries, shortening recovery time while also speeding along cellular turnover and collagen production. If you want to take your microneedling results to the next level, you definitely want to select the microneedling with PRP option.
Microneedling with PRP is ideal for many skin types!

Both male or female patients suffering from thinning, weak, and brittle hair or active hair loss may benefit from hair restoration with PRP/PRF, especially those patients in the early stages of hair loss, as they can experience significant benefits from PRP/PRF injections. The PRP/PRF is injected into the scalp to reverse the depreciation of hair follicles and promote thicker, denser, and healthier hair strands. If you are experiencing hair thinning or loss, schedule a hair loss consultation with our Nurse Practitioner, who will work with you to determine if you are a good candidate for PRP or PRF hair restoration!

PRP stands for "platelet-rich plasma". PRF, on the other hand, stands for "platelet-rich fibrin". These are both obtained by drawing your blood. PRP involves additives and chemicals and is spun down in a different way than PRF, which remains completely natural and unmodified. While both treatments offer incredible results, PRF delivers about 8-10 times more growth hormones than found in the blood, while PRP delivers about 2-5 times the amount. PRP and PRF release natural growth factors to accelerate healing, promote healthy collagen structures, and stimulate blood flow in the treatment area.

01. What is the difference between PRP + PRF?

For hair loss, it is recommended to begin with three sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After this, maintenance injections may be needed every 6 months.
For injection, this is dependent on the area of concern.

02. how many treatments are needed?

For hair loss, you may see results from injections in 4 weeks. With facial injections, benefits are seen almost instantly from the volumization of the injected PRP/PRF and will continue to improve over the following weeks. Finally, after procedures such as microneedling or Morpheus8, you will see instant improvement in inflammation and redness with the addition of PRP or PRF.

03. When will I see results?

While PRP and PRF have many uses in sports and regenerative medicine, at S+A we use PRP and PRF as injectables for both skin rejuvenation and anti-aging as well as for hair restoration, with microneedling, and with Morpheus8.

04. How can PRP + PRF be used?

All patients receive injections from our dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner, who has over ten years of experience.
